ACJNet - Interact - Public Consultations:

The internet has been used for some time now to improve the public’s access to legal and justice information and to enable individuals to communicate with each other or with the government on a one-to-one basis. However, there have been fewer opportunities to use the new electronic telecommunications technology to discuss issues of concern and to provide collective input into the development of government policy. This consultation service has been developed to help the government, the voluntary sector, and the public begin to use the Internet for collaborative input to public policy development.
